15th Annual SHIP Directors Conference

The 15th Annual SHIP Directors Conference is an opportunity for the SHIP Directors and staff to network with colleagues, share replicable activities and initiatives, discuss lessons learned, discuss important policy and advocacy issues with CMS officials and others, and to learn about new Medicare programs and initiatives. This year's conference will be held May 26-29, 2009 at the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel, Baltimore, Maryland.

Registration to this conference is free.

Paperless Conference

This year's conference agenda will feature a mix of plenary, breakout and roundtable sessions organized around three track sessions.

1. Program Administration and Management (activities, initiatives, and best practices to improve overall efficiency, effectiveness, and daily program operations)
2. Technical Training (specific programmatic topics used in the delivery of counseling and educational activities involving beneficiaries)
3. Training Techniques and Presentation Skills (mechanics and logistics of delivering trainings and educational presentations)

Like last year's conference, this conference will be a paperless conference. All abstracts, speaker bios, and presentation materials will be posted on this Website as soon as they are received. Copies of presentation materials will not be distributed at the conference. Attendees are encouraged to print in advance any presentation materials they want to have at the conference. All presentation materials will be posted online at this site after the conference for attendees to download.
