Georgia Aquarium

Georgia Aquarium is the world's largest aquarium, covering 13 acres, and is home to tens of thousands of animals, including 500 species from around the world. Georgia Aquarium holds more than 10 million gallons of fresh and salt water and features more than 60 separate exhibits for visitors to explore. The largest exhibit, Ocean Voyager, holds 6.3 million gallons of water and houses thousands of animals, including four whale sharks and four manta rays; it is the only aquarium in the western hemisphere to showcase these animals. Other exhibits feature beluga whales, penguins, sea otters, tropical fish and more. Georgia Aquarium features two theaters, one of which plays an animated 4-D film. In 2011, Georgia Aquarium opened its largest expansion to date, the AT&T Dolphin Tales gallery, theater and show. This $110 million addition brings dolphins to the Aquarium for the first time, appearing in a musical theater production featuring a mythical tale of good against evil, co-starring human actors and trainers and featuring amazing special effects. World of Coca-Cola

World of Coca-Cola At the World of Coca-Cola, experience the fascinating story of the world's most famous beverage brand in a dynamic, multimedia attraction. Zoo Atlanta

Atlanta Zoo picture An accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), Zoo Atlanta inspires value and preservation of wildlife through a unique mix of education and outdoor family fun. From well-known native wildlife to critically endangered species on the brink of extinction, the Zoo offers memorable close encounters with more than 1,000 animals from around the world. The Zoo's newest attraction, Trader's Alley: Wildlife's Fading Footprints, featuring the debut of two new sun bears, opened in June 1010. Other highlights include the nation's largest collection of western lowland gorillas, the nation's largest zoological collection of orangutans and a global center of excellence for the care and study of vanishing reptiles and amphibians. Zoo Atlanta is also proud to be one of only four zoos in the U.S. that giant pandas call home. The Zoo is open daily with the exceptions of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
