U.S. Smoke-Free Worksite Challenge - Engaging Business in Tobacco-Free Workplaces: Wednesday, April 25, 2012, Chicago, IL

Overview

You are invited to participate in a conference on April 25th to assist businesses in the development and implementation of tobacco-free workplaces. The program will be held from 7:30AM - 2:30 PM CST, at the Union League Club, 65 West Jackson, Chicago, Illinois.

The business case for implementing a smoke-free campus policy will be presented. The strategic aspects of providing comprehensive cessation coverage as well as tactical approaches from employers who have achieved success in their own smoking cessation efforts will also be shared.

We also invite you to join us at this important conference as we kickoff the U.S. Smoke-Free Worksite Challenge.

The conference is sponsored by the Health and Human Services Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health and the Health and Human Services Regional Health Administrators of Regions V and VII, in cooperation with the Midwest Business Group on Health, the Mid-America Coalition on Healthcare, other business organizations, and the Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago.
